The 9th annual Voices of Hope Christian Women’s Conference
Voices of Hope believes Your Story Matters.
Why? Growing up with no voice sparked founder Dena Schrock’s passion to create a platform for women to share their stories. Breaking the silence and telling your story is the beginning of hope and healing. Telling your story can be cathartic for victims of abuse. It provides a sense of emotional release and encourages growth and healing. Survivors who know they are not alone are more likely to seek help. And talking about it brings community awareness and change.
This 2-day event is open to all women, age 18 and up. You will hear from a number of speakers and authors. Many are survivors of abuse, oppression, family dysfunction, grief, etc. We offer 3 small group breakout sessions over the course of the weekend with trained leaders who can help process your own story and put you on the path of healing.
This year’s conference will feature six speakers: Faith Ingraham, Kate Troyer, Michelle Viscuse, Phyllis Sweitzer, Rebekah Hope and Kim Griffiths. We will also have a small panel discussion with several women willing to share their stories. And we are excited to bring back recording artist, Leanette Lopez, as our Worship & Praise leader!
The conference runs Friday evening, 4:30-8:30pm. Doors open at 3:30. A light meal of pizza will be served. Saturday, doors open at 8:00am. The conference runs 9:00am-4:00pm. Lunch is included.
Cost of the conference is $55, if you purchase tickets before March 17th. After March 17th and at the door, ticket prices increase to $70 and meals are not guaranteed.
