Pomerene Hospital Leadership Update

On behalf of the Pomerene Hospital Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that Anne Gunther, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CENP, has accepted the role of Chief Executive Officer of Pomerene Hospital, after serving in the role of interim Chief Executive Officer for the past three months.

Most recently, Anne served as president of Aultman Hospital. During her 35 years with Aultman Health System, she has served in a variety of executive nursing and healthcare operational roles including system Chief Nursing Executive; Vice President Heart & Vascular; Women’s & Children’s Services; and Cancer Services. 

She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Walsh University, her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Akron and her doctorate in nursing practice from Walsh University. 

Anne holds nurse executive specialty certifications by The American Nurses Credentialing Center and American Organization of Nursing Leadership. She is active in numerous volunteer activities and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Aultman Health Foundation, Aultman Women’s Board and Central Stark County YMCA. She is also the past president of the Ohio Organization for Nursing Leadership.
