
Gerber named president of Ohio Associaton of Convention & Visitors Bureaus
The executive director of the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau was sworn in as the 2025 president of the Ohio Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus.
Tiffany Gerber will lead the organization, also known as OACVB. It is a resource for destination marketing organizations in Ohio to maximize the economic impact of tourism via communication, cooperative marketing, industry education, legislative awareness, issues management, trend identification and professional development.
Other 2025 officers are: Vice President Boone Troyer, Athens County CVB; Treasurer Deanna Cark, Marietta-Washington County CVB; Secretary Tracy Kocher, Travel Butler County; and Past President Jeff Blom, Discover Clermont County.
The executive committee, under Gerber’s leadership, will continue an initiative to work with legislators and local tourism professionals to create parity in lodging tax collections and ensure funds are used for tourism promotion. Education, mentoring and niche tourism marketing partnerships also will be priorities.
Gerber, is celebrating five years in Holmes County and 32 years in regional tourism marketing and development.
“OACVB is an incredible resource for directors at every level of experience in Ohio’s tourism industry," Gerber said. "It is important that the chamber/tourism hybrid offices are represented as we have a unique focus on economic development and community growth.”
