21st Annual OPAS Competition

Artists of the Ohio Plein Air Society are coming to Holmes Co. September 20, 21, 22nd. The competition is open to all artists over the age of 18. We paint strictly outdoors, without the use of photography or technical aids. This is our 21st Competition, Ohio counties every 2 years. Our judge, Margaret McWethy is traveling from Boston to jury 3 events: • a Saturday evening nocturne competition right in Millersburg on Friday night from 8 - 10pm. • the Sunday main event, one painting from 3 days of painting is entered into the competition judged on the Millersburg Square. • the Sunday Quick draw - artists complete a painting in 2 hours, return it, framed to the Millersburg Squae and on their easel for judging.
